We are selling off the remaining inventory of the old DDS.
A DDS (direct digital synthesizer) VFO is the state of the art in VFO technology.  Virtually all modern commercial radios use this technology.  It provides fantastic stability, no drift, and precision.  You simply tell it what frequency to generate and it does it.  Note unlike some other DDS modules being shown, this one is complete including microprocessor.  All you do is apply power, turn the dial (shaft encoder) and out comes the frequency.  So it is possible to retrofit vintage radios, QRP radios, and just about anything else.  As an interesting note, when I attached it to my 40m homebrew challenge radio, it suddenly turned into a rather broad range receiver.   I could receive from the AM broadcast band to 10MHz.

This partial kit consists of the bare PCB, Programmed Microprocessor, 50MHz oscillator can, and Microprocessor crystal (13.44MHz) .  You'll need to get the DDS chip from Analog Devices or Digikey,  All the other parts are generally available from many sources. 
PCB, Programed Microprocessor plus other components to make a fully functional DDS VFO controlled via an RS-232 Port or USB (using a 3rd party adaptor) 50MHz clock supplied. No LCD, no Rotary Encoder, no switches, no connectors.
 Same as Basic kit, plus LCD, Rotary Encoder, 2 Switches.  Makes a fully functional DDS VFO that can be controlled using the Rotary Encoder and switches, and LCD Display (& RS-232) LCD module, Mechanical rotary encoder included.

  • Look for the chip you want: AD5932YRUZ
  • Under the column label "samples cart" Click on "add to samples cart" They normally allow 1 or 2 free samples.
