All programmable options stored in non volatile EEPROM, so they only have to be set once.

uCode, includes anti jitter s/w which prevents LSD from jittering between two values.

Atmel programming connector (6pin header for connection the Atmel's AVR USB programmer)
Rotary or slider contrast pot. (Used if you want to view LCD from a variety of angles, below, and above)
Connecterizable LCD module connections. (Accepts 10 pin headers if you want to remote the display from the controller)
Extra input electrolytic cap to allow 8-12 VAC power operation.(D1 will act as half wave rectifier, an AC wall wart can be used for power)
