Assembly Service
One of the reasons I am selling kits is because I think it is important to encourage individuals to build things on their own. So offering assembled kits is contrary to this objective. However, I do understand that many hams continue to experiment with electronics well into their 80's. Advanced age is sometimes accompanied by declining eyesight and motor skills.
I have made these kits as easy as possible to assemble, using through hole parts wherever possible, but nevertheless, some people cannot do it. So due to many requests, I have decided to begin offering assembly service. I will assemble, test, calibrate and guarantee your
kit. I'm sorry but no cases/enclosures are offered.
This service is offered to Licensed Amateur radio operators who feel that they cannot assemble the kit themselves due to physical limitations. No proof is required we will use the honor system. Assembly service is not available to commercial users.
Prices for assembly are $30 for a frequency counter, $40 for the general coverage receiver (any version) and $50 for the DDS.
